Exhibition announcements, images of original work, criticism, video and any and all craft/art-related ephemera are welcome anytime. Emerging artists and craftspeople are encouraged to submit work for inclusion on the FEATURED page. Please remember to include photo credit and relevant caption information for all images you submit. All images should be formatted to 72 dpi and no larger than 650 pixels in any direction.
Mackenzie Frère lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has written for several Canadian publications including Artichoke Magazine and Craft, Perception and Practice Vol III. His hand woven cloth has been exhibited in Canada, China, Japan and Korea. Mackenzie was educated at the Alberta College of Art + Design in Calgary, Alberta (BFA 1998) and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University in Halifax, Nova Scotia (MFA 2005). He is currently weaving, teaching at the Alberta College of Art + Design and curating online exhibitions of visual art across disciplines at Poplar Gallery.Online.
